Video by Ron Roberts of a fire yesterday afternoon in Newtown Borough, Pennsylvania (Bucks County).
Fire ripped through the law offices of Bucks County criminal defense attorney Louis Busico Monday afternoon causing heavy damage to the century-old Victorian building on South State Street near Court Street.
More than 100 firefighters responded to the scene around 2 p.m. for the report of an electrical fire.
When fire crews arrived, heavy smoke was pouring from the front door and the side of the house, said Newtown Emergency Services Fire Chief Glenn Forsyth.
The firefighters immediately launched an interior attack on the blaze, but were forced to evacuate due to a heavy heat condition, said Forsyth. “Once we got the roof opened up, we could get back inside and did an interior attack.”
